Steel Awards 2010 –category winner: Community development for Meetse-a-bophelo primary school in Mamelodi, alternative steel technologies were used in the award winning design of the school structures. a combination of structural steel, arval facade panels and lightweight steel was used on this unique project.

FIFTY PERCENT SMME’S EMPLOYED ON THE ROAD BETWEEN BETHULIE AND SPRINGFONTEIN

The upgrading of the road betweenBethulie and Springfontein iscurrently being upgraded at a cost of R172m. Fifty (50) percent of project will be done by SMME’s
under the direct supervision of the main contractor, Raubex Construction. The project comprises the upgrading of the existing 38km gravel road to tar road standards, including a new 3 span road over rail bridge.
